Sean Ray is a multifaceted American singer, songwriter, vocal producer, record producer, and engineer. Born in Tacoma, Washington and raised in Lawnside, New Jersey, he now calls Los Angeles home. Music runs deep in Sean’s roots, both of his parents are singers, and by the age of seven, he had already begun writing, recording, and performing. That early foundation shaped a lifelong passion and purpose in music.
 
Over the years, Sean has collaborated with both major and independent artists, lending his versatile talents to projects across genres. His journey has included performances from coast to coast, including a high school tour in Orlando, Florida. From 2013 to 2016, Sean was also part of a Pop/R&B group with his sister, Chanelle Ray. Their time together in the group became a pivotal chapter in Sean’s journey, ultimately bringing them to Los Angeles and opening the door to new creative opportunities.
 
One of Sean’s longtime goals, placing his music in film has become a reality. In 2024, four songs from his debut album, Lost Love Songs, were featured in the film "I Hate I Love You", marking a significant milestone in his journey as an independent artist. Produced by Orlando Wade and written by Wade and Sean, Lost Love Songs has earned hundreds of thousands of streams and resonated with listeners around the world. The entire project was recorded, mixed, and mastered by Sean from the comfort of his home studio, reflecting his hands-on approach as both an artist and engineer.
 
That creative partnership with Orlando Wade continued into Sean’s next chapter, Dear Love, an upcoming album set for release in early 2027. Once again produced by Wade and written by Wade and Sean, the project represents a deeper evolution of their sound and artistic identity. After discovering the musical lane that truly felt like their own, Dear Love became a more focused and fully realized body of work, one that Sean considers especially meaningful. The album’s first two singles, “Meadow” and “Giving More,” mark the beginning of this new era, each accompanied by a music video that reflects Sean’s evolving visual and artistic direction.
 
In 2019, Sean founded Converted Collective LLC, a creative powerhouse offering professional services including recording, mixing and mastering, songwriting, and more. Through the collective, he continues to elevate independent artistry while building a growing roster of loyal, returning clients.
